The addiCraSyTrio Novel long from addi is a flexible set of three knitting needles for working small rounds, for example socks, gloves, sleeves, cuffs, hats or baby clothes. According to addi, you only need two needle changes per round. Compared with a classic set of double-pointed needles with several rigid needles, this saves steps and lets you knit faster.
The 125 mm tips are made of brass, with a white brunied finish and a square texture. This textured surface is intended to give an even stitch pattern. The tips are joined by a plastic cable. The flexible centre section lets the needles adapt to your hand, which is comfortable during longer knitting sessions. Each needle is 30 cm long overall. They are made in Germany.
Knitting small rounds with the trio
The trio suits work with a small circumference, where a long circular needle would be too big and a classic set of double-pointed needles requires many changes. Typical examples are sock legs, heels and toes, glove fingers, sleeves of children's jumpers and hat crowns. Follow the stitch distribution in your pattern. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; knit a small tension swatch beforehand, especially if you are switching from a different type of needle.
