Clover iron-on transfer pencil in blue – transfer designs with an iron

The Clover iron-on transfer pencil (art. no. 5005) in blue transfers designs with an iron, for example for patchwork, embroidery patterns and appliqué. You can use it to transfer templates to fabric, paper and wood.

According to Clover, a drawn design can be ironed on 2–3 times. This means you can use the same template several times, for example for several identical appliqués. The pencil is also available in red (art. no. 5004).

How to transfer a design

The pencil is intended for appliqué and doll patterns. According to Clover, use it only for transferring by ironing on.

• Place tracing paper over your template and trace the design with the pencil.
• Place the tracing paper with the drawing on the fabric.
• Iron over it and the design will appear on the fabric.
• Test the transfer on a scrap of fabric first, before working on your actual piece.
