The Gütermann sew-all thread set contains 10 reels of all-purpose sewing thread with 100 m each, 1,000 m in total. The thread is made of 100 % polyester and, according to the manufacturer, is suitable for machine and hand sewing. You can use it for joining seams, topstitching and decorative stitches on all kinds of fabrics, woven materials and many other materials.

With ten reels you have a supply for several projects and do not need to buy thread separately for every small job. It suits alterations, repairs, clothing, accessories and home decorations.

Using the sew-all thread

For the sewing machine, a universal needle in size NM 70–90 is suitable. The thread has the thickness No./Tkt. 100, which makes it intended for fine to medium-weight fabrics. For hand sewing, simply pull off the length of thread you want from the reel. For decorative stitches and topstitching, use the same thread as for the joining seams so the stitching stays consistent. Before you start your project, it is best to sew a few stitches on a scrap of fabric and check the thread tension.

Which set to choose

This set has 10 reels with 1,000 m in total. If you need more colours or larger quantities, Gütermann also offers the sew-all thread set with 20 reels of 100 m. If a single colour is enough, a single reel is the better choice.
