Gütermann Sewing-Box – sort, store and carry your sewing thread reels

The Gütermann Sewing-Box is a transparent storage box for sewing thread reels. You can sort your threads in it, keep them within easy reach and take them along to a sewing class or the studio. The box comes in three sizes for 12, 18 or 27 reels. Choose your size from the options.

The box is see-through, so you can see your thread colours at a glance and don't need to open any lids to find the right reel. It is supplied empty; the thread is not included.

Which size suits you?

The size depends on your thread stock and where you plan to use the box. The smaller box for 12 reels suits a few basic colours on the sewing table or in a class bag. The box for 18 reels gives you more choice, and the version for 27 reels also holds a larger thread collection. Before buying, check that your reels have a diameter of 19 mm. Reels with a different diameter may not fit.

Use

Here is how to keep your sewing thread in order:

• Sort the reels by colour family or thread type and place them in the box
• Keep the box in your sewing room, in a cupboard or in your class bag
• Take out the reel you need for sewing and put it back afterwards
