The Gütermann Sew-All 20-piece set contains 20 reels of all-purpose sewing thread, each with 100 m, making 2000 m in total. The thread is 100 % polyester and can be used on a sewing machine or by hand. With 20 reels in an assortment of colours, you have several colours to hand for many projects and do not need to search for individual reels.

According to Gütermann, the sew-all thread is intended for construction seams, topstitching, decorative stitches and all fabrics and weaves. It is versatile and suits repairs, alterations and sewing projects with changing fabrics.

Using the sew-all thread

For a sewing machine, a universal needle in size NM 70–90 suits thread size No. 100. You can sew construction seams and topstitching and add decorative stitches with it. By hand, you can use the same thread for hems, buttons or small repairs. If you combine fabrics of different thicknesses, sew a test seam on an offcut first and check the thread tension and stitch appearance.

Choosing a set

The 20-piece set offers more colours for varied or frequent sewing projects. If you only need a small basic stock, the same thread is also available in a 10-piece set with 10 reels of 100 m. The colour selection differs from set to set, so check the product name.
