Gütermann creativ Sew-All Thread Set – 3 × Black and 4 × White for Hand and Machine Sewing

This set contains Gütermann creativ sew-all thread, an all-purpose sewing thread made of 100 % polyester, in the two basic colours black and white. You get 7 reels of 100 m each: 3 reels of black and 4 reels of white, 700 m in total. The thread is tear-resistant and abrasion-resistant, with an even thickness and no thin or thick spots. This means it runs smoothly through the machine and the stitch is even.

The sew-all thread is intended for nearly all fabrics and stitch types, on the sewing machine as well as by hand.

What you can use the sew-all thread for

You can use the thread for joining seams and topstitching, overlock and safety stitches, buttonholes and sewing on buttons. Fine decorative stitches and ornamental seams also work well with it. Because one thread suits all of these jobs, you do not need to buy a different thread for each project.

Choosing colour and needle

Choose white for light fabrics and black for dark ones, so the seam is barely noticeable. For the sewing machine, a universal needle in size Nm 70–90 is recommended, to suit the thickness of the thread. Adapt the needle to your fabric: a finer one for lightweight fabrics, a stronger one for dense fabrics.
