This fine crepe masking tape, 50 mm wide and 50 m long, is an impregnated, lightly creped painter's tape with a natural rubber adhesive. You use it for masking and taping off when painting, for craft projects and for DIY jobs indoors.

At 50 mm wide, one strip covers more area than a narrow tape, for example skirting boards, window frames or the edges of larger surfaces. The tape is intended for simple masking jobs on smooth surfaces. On very delicate surfaces, test it first on an inconspicuous spot.

How to mask off cleanly

The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease, otherwise the tape will not stick evenly. Apply the strip in a straight line and press the edge down firmly with your fingernail or a scraper so that no paint seeps underneath. After painting, peel the tape off at a shallow angle without pulling it upwards. This keeps the paint edge clean and protects the surface underneath.

Which width to choose

The 50 mm width suits larger surfaces and wide edges. For narrow lines, frames or fine craft work, the fine crepe masking tape is also available in a 19 mm width.
