Prym ruler grip – handle with suction cups for plastic rulers

The Prym ruler grip (art. no. 611494) is a handle with two suction cups that you press onto a plastic ruler. This lets you position the ruler on the fabric more easily when measuring, marking and cutting, and guide it with a secure hold. The grip suits patchwork rulers and other plastic rulers.

The suction cups stick to smooth surfaces and are easy to attach and release. Ruler and template slip less while you work.

Attaching the grip

Place the grip in the centre or wherever you find it most comfortable to hold the ruler, and press both suction cups down firmly. The surface must be smooth, clean and free of dust or fabric fluff, otherwise the suction cups will hold less well. To remove the grip, lift it at the edge and peel it off carefully. On larger patchwork rulers, you can place the grip where you cut most often, so you do not need to rest your hand flat on the ruler as you guide it.
