Clover double tracing wheel – seam and cutting line in one pass

With the Clover double tracing wheel (art. no. 487/W) you transfer sewing patterns onto fabric and mark two parallel lines at the same time. This lets you mark the seam line and the cutting line in a single pass, instead of going over each line separately.

You can adjust the distance between the two wheels in 5 mm steps between 10 and 30 mm. This lets you adapt the wheel to different seam allowances, for example if your pattern includes a 1 cm or 1.5 cm allowance.

Transferring seam allowances

Place the dressmaker's carbon paper between the fabric and the pattern, with the coloured side facing the fabric. Set the distance between the wheels to the seam allowance. If your pattern has no seam allowance, run one wheel along the seam line and the second will mark the cutting line at the set distance. Try it out first on a scrap of fabric, as how clear the mark is depends on the fabric and the carbon paper.
