Prym spare blades (art. no. 610472) are straight-cut standard blades for rotary cutters with a 45 mm diameter. You get 3 silver-coloured stainless steel blades, so you can cut fabric cleanly again for sewing, patchwork and quilting.

According to Prym, the blades fit the Prym Maxi, Maxi Easy, Comfort, Multi and Omnicut rotary cutters. They come in a plastic box, where you can store spare and used blades safely.

When to change the blade

Change the blade regularly as soon as it no longer cuts cleanly, drags on the fabric or leaves threads uncut. A blunt blade leads to inaccurate cuts, tires your hand because you need more pressure, and can damage the cutting mat. With 3 blades in the pack, you have spares for several changes. Do not leave a used blade lying loose; put it in the box.

Which blade fits?

This pack contains standard blades for straight cuts. For decorative edges, Prym offers wave and pinking blades. For the Mini rotary cutter with a 28 mm diameter, you need the smaller 28 mm blades. So check the diameter of your cutter before buying.
