Prym pinking blade 45 mm – a zigzag cutting edge for your rotary cutter

The Prym pinking replacement blade (art. no. 611367) is a replacement blade with a pinked edge for Prym rotary cutters. It has a diameter of 45 mm and is made of 100 % stainless steel. It cuts fabric with a zigzag edge, for example to finish raw edges or for decorative pinked borders.

The blade fits the Prym rotary cutters Maxi, Maxi Easy, Comfort, Multi and Omnicut. It is supplied singly in a plastic box, so the sharp blade is protected during storage.

When to change the blade

Blunt blades cut inaccurately, tire your hand and damage the cutting mat. Replace the blade regularly, at the latest when the cut starts to fray or you need to press harder. To change it, place the rotary cutter on a firm surface, secure the blade following the instructions for your rotary cutter and never touch the cutting edge.

What the pinking blade is used for

The zigzag edge runs in small points. Use it when the cut edge is to remain visible, for example with patchwork appliqués, felt or decorative fabrics. For straight, smooth cuts you need a standard blade instead.
