Prym fine latch hook needle – pick up stitches, pull threads through, thread an overlocker

You can use the fine latch hook needle from the prym.ergonomics series by Prym (art. no. 610960) on knitted fabrics and with overlockers. It repairs ladders in knitwear or nylon tights, pulls threads through and guides the thread in the overlocker.

The soft, non-slip grip hollows sit securely in the hand, so you can work with less fatigue even on longer repairs. When not in use, push the protective cap onto the tip. Pushed onto the end of the handle, it extends the handle.

Repairing a ladder

Insert the needle into the stitch at the bottom end of the ladder, catch the next crossbar thread above it and pull it through the stitch. Work your way up step by step. Finally, secure the last stitch with a few hand stitches.

Other uses

On the overlocker, the fine tip helps with threading and guiding the thread. You can also reach tight spots with it when securing threads on overlocked seams. The needle is sharp, so keep the protective cap on when storing it.
