Prym sewing machine oil – resin- and acid-free white oil for lubrication and maintenance

Prym sewing machine oil (art. no. 611998) is a white oil for lubricating and maintaining sewing machines. According to Prym, it is resin- and acid-free and intended for fine metal mechanisms. You can also use it around the home for other fine mechanical applications.

The dosing bottle holds 20 ml and has a long dropper tip. This lets you put the oil exactly where it is needed, even on hard-to-reach parts inside the machine.

How to oil your sewing machine

Your machine's manual tells you which points to oil and how often. Apply the oil sparingly, drop by drop, to the moving metal parts, for example around the hook and the bobbin case. Afterwards, sew a few stitches on a scrap of fabric so that excess oil does not get onto your project. Before that, wipe away any oil that has leaked out with a lint-free cloth.
