Atelier Zitron YAK is the result of intensive development work and a passion for creating the finest yak yarn in the world. The blend of 70 % Tasmanian extrafine merino wool and 30 % yak fibre, an incredibly fine 16 micron, gives a yarn that is hard to beat for softness, handle and natural warmth.

The yarn is well balanced: pleasantly light, with 500 m per 100 g, so it suits large projects such as shawls, jumpers or fine cardigans. The special yarn structure gives your knitting elegance, depth and a wonderfully even finish.
