Tibetan Cloud Fingering from Lotus Yarns is a knitting yarn made from 100 % Tibetan yak. One ball weighs 50 g and has a length of approx. 450 m. That is a lot of length for very little weight, which suits lightweight knits such as shawls, scarves or small accessories.

The length of approx. 450 m per 50 g helps with planning: convert the metres required by your pattern into balls, rather than buying by weight. According to the manufacturer, the tension is 32 stitches and 38 rows over 10 × 10 cm in stocking stitch on 3.75 mm needles. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the figure on the ball band is only a guide.
Care
According to the manufacturer, wash yak yarn by hand in cold water. Then leave the knitted piece to dry flat so that it keeps its shape. Do not lift it from one spot when wet; gently press the water out instead.
