Faber-Castell Castell 9000 Jumbo Pencil, HB to 8B

Faber-Castell Castell 9000 Jumbo Pencil

The Faber-Castell Castell 9000 Jumbo is the extra thick version of the well-known Castell 9000 pencil. This Faber-Castell classic has been available since 1905 and is still valued for its quality when writing, drawing and sketching.

Its sturdy shape makes the Jumbo pencil sit comfortably in the hand and suits anyone who prefers to work with a thicker pencil. The extra thick lead, approx. 5.3 mm in diameter, gives expressive lines as well as soft, broad shading.

Drawing pencil with an extra thick lead

The Castell 9000 Jumbo glides smoothly over the paper and can be used in many ways, from writing and sketching to artistic drawing. The broad lead makes it easy to work larger areas, so the pencil is well suited to hatching, shadows and soft transitions.

The lead is fully bonded to the wooden casing by a special gluing process, which protects it against breakage. The pencil is produced climate-neutrally, finished with an environmentally friendly water-based lacquer and made from FSC-certified wood from responsibly managed forests.
