The Staedtler Lumocolor permanent 317 in size M is a permanent marker for almost all surfaces, which you can use for lasting labelling and marking at school, in the office, in the workshop and for hobbies. The line width of approx. 1.0 mm gives a clean, medium-width line that stays easy to read for everyday labels and markings.

The permanent ink is smudge-proof, waterproof and low in odour. It dries within seconds, so it hardly smears even for left-handed users. Only black is lightfast. Choose your colour from the options.

What the pen is suitable for

According to Staedtler, the ink adheres to almost all surfaces and is smudge-proof and waterproof on them. The pen is also suitable for overhead projection. On delicate or highly absorbent materials, test it first in an inconspicuous spot, as the ink is permanent and cannot easily be removed.

Practical features

Thanks to DRY SAFE, you can leave the pen without its cap for days without it drying out. This helps when you often switch between pens. For storage, you should still put the cap back on. The automatic pressure compensation makes the pen flight-safe: it does not leak on board. When the ink runs out, you can refill the pen with the Refill Station 487 17 and save yourself buying a new one.
