Staedtler Lumocolor permanent duo 348 Double-Ended Marker Pen

Staedtler Lumocolor permanent duo 348 – permanent marker pen with fine and medium tips

The Staedtler Lumocolor permanent duo 348 is a permanent marker pen with two bullet tips for writing and marking on almost any surface. The fine tip (F) has a line width of approx. 0.6 mm and the medium tip (M) approx. 1.5 mm. You can write in fine detail and mark boldly with a single pen.

According to Staedtler, the ink is smudge-proof and waterproof, intensely coloured and low in odour. It dries within seconds, which is particularly handy for left-handers because nothing smears. Choose your colour from the options.

Which tip for which job?

Use the fine tip (F, approx. 0.6 mm) for small lettering, details and labels where legibility matters. The medium tip (M, approx. 1.5 mm) draws bolder lines and makes clear markings. As the ink is permanent, it cannot simply be wiped off once dry. Test the pen on an inconspicuous spot first to check that adhesion and coverage suit your surface.

Hard-wearing in everyday use

Thanks to DRY SAFE, according to Staedtler the pen does not dry out even if it is left without its cap for days. Put the cap back on after use all the same. The tips are locked in place and cannot be pushed into the barrel, even under heavy writing pressure. This helps when pressing firmly on rough surfaces. The pressure equalisation (Airplane safe) prevents leaking on a plane. When the ink runs out, you can refill the marker with the refill station 488 48. According to Staedtler, the black ink is lightfast.
