Working with 300 gsm card

At this weight, the card tends to crack along a folded edge. Score the fold line first with a bone folder or the blunt side of a pair of scissors, and the edge will come out clean. Straight cuts work best with a ruler, craft knife and cutting mat, while scissors with a pointed tip suit curves and shapes. For stamped motifs and embossing, lay the card flat on a firm surface.
