The MOLOTOW Liquid Chrome Marker is a marker filled with highly pigmented, alcohol-based special ink. It produces a high-gloss, liquid chrome finish and is intended for lettering, outlines and accents with a chrome look. The ink is highly opaque and permanent. According to the manufacturer, a patented capillary system and the FLOWMASTER valve ensure an even flow of ink.

The marker is refillable and the tip can be replaced. That keeps it ready to use for a long time, rather than having to throw it away when the tip wears down. Choose your tip size from the options.

Where the mirror effect works

You get the mirror effect on smooth, non-absorbent surfaces, for example glass, metal or smooth plastic. On absorbent surfaces such as paper or cardboard, some of the ink sinks into the material and the chrome shine is weaker. Before use, test the marker on an inconspicuous area or on a test piece of the same material.

Protecting, refilling, changing the tip

The ink is moderately scratch- and rub-resistant. Note when sealing: according to Molotow, a clear varnish can reduce the mirror effect. So that the chrome effect does not fade, Molotow recommends replacing the tip as a precaution after one year.
