Faber-Castell 7081 N White Eraser, PVC-Free

Faber-Castell 7081 N Plastic Eraser – Clean Erasing on Paper

The Faber-Castell 7081 N eraser (art. no. 188121) is a white plastic eraser for pencil and coloured pencil marks on paper. It erases cleanly without smudging, so no grey streaks are left on light paper.

The eraser is PVC-free. A sliding paper sleeve surrounds the eraser, which keeps your hand clean and lets you push it forward as it wears down. At approx. 6 × 2.2 × 1.2 cm, it sits comfortably in the hand and fits in a pencil case.

How to erase cleanly

Hold the paper still with your free hand and erase in one direction with light pressure. Too much pressure roughens the paper surface, and graphite or colour will catch there later. Brush the eraser crumbs away with a cloth or brush rather than rubbing over them with your hand, so nothing smears. The eraser is intended for pencil and coloured pencil; with very soft or heavily applied layers of colour, a shadow may remain.
