The Prym needle assortment (art. no. 128600) contains 30 sewing, embroidery and darning needles in different sizes. That way you have the right needle to hand for sewing, fine embroidery, small darning jobs and appliqué. The needles are made of hardened steel and have a silver eye.

They come in a round plastic box with a plum-blue base and a transparent, printed lid. Through the side opening in the rotating lid you take a needle from its compartment and put it back after use. This keeps the needles sorted rather than loose in your sewing box.

Which needle for which job?

The needles differ in length and thickness. Choose a needle so that your thread passes easily through the eye and the needle leaves no visible holes in the fabric. For fine fabrics use a thinner needle; for dense weaves or thicker yarn, a stronger one. For darning and repairs, pick a needle with an eye large enough for your darning or embroidery thread.

Storage
