The Faber-Castell Art Eraser in grey is a kneadable putty rubber for correcting and lightening drawings in charcoal, pencil or pastel. It picks up pigment instead of rubbing it away and leaves no eraser crumbs. Your sheet and workspace stay clean.

The compound is extremely pliable and absorbent. You can shape it into a fine point for small highlights or press it flat onto larger areas. The eraser is also suitable for cleaning film and finished drawings. A storage box is included.

How to erase cleanly

Knead the eraser before use until it is soft and pliable. Dab or press it onto the area and lift it off rather than rubbing. This lifts the charcoal or pastel instead of smearing it across the paper. Once the surface is grey and saturated, fold the compound and knead it again until a clean surface is on the outside. If its pick-up still drops off noticeably, the eraser is used up. Keep it in the box so that it does not collect dust.
