Prym sew-on press studs 11 mm – small brass fasteners for sewing on

Prym sew-on press studs in 11 mm are small, discreet fasteners for sewing on, for example to clothing, bags and accessories. Each press stud consists of a socket part and a ball part in rustproof brass. The underside is rolled and protects the fabric from sharp edges. Four holes in the stud give you firm points to stitch through, so you can sew it on evenly.

The pack contains 12 studs in silver. The press studs are washable up to 60 °C, so you can leave them on clothing that you wash regularly.

How to sew on the press studs

First mark the position on both layers of fabric. The socket and ball parts must meet exactly when closed, otherwise the fastening will gape. The ball part goes on the layer that lies underneath when closed, the socket part on the opposite side. Sew each part on through all four holes with several firm stitches and fasten off the thread securely. For jackets or bags, use a strong thread so that the stud does not tear out when opened.
