Prym iron-on edge tape in graphite – stabilises fabric edges

The Prym iron-on edge tape (art. no. 968246) in graphite stabilises and reinforces fabric edges, for example on armholes, front edges, lapels, necklines and pocket openings. You iron the 20 mm wide tape along the curved cut edge, and the edge then keeps its shape.

The tape is made of 100 % polyamide and is reinforced with lengthwise threads. These threads stop edges from stretching on the bias. It is iron-safe and washable up to 40 °C. The card holds one 10 m roll.

Reinforcing an edge

Place the tape on the wrong side of the fabric, right along the cut edge, and iron it on section by section. On curves such as armholes, shape the tape as you iron it. Try it first on a scrap of fabric so you know how your fabric reacts to the heat.

Graphite or white?

Graphite suits medium and dark fabrics. For light fabrics, the edge tape is available as a separate item in white (art. no. 968240).
