Prym iron-on edge tape 20 mm white – reinforces edges

Prym fusible edge tape (art. no. 968240) stabilises edges on clothing and sewing projects: armholes, front edges, lapels, necklines and pocket openings. You iron the 20 mm wide tape on along the cut edge. Lengthwise threads reinforce the fusible tape, so the edge is less likely to distort. The tape is also suitable for curved edges and edges cut on the bias, which otherwise stretch out easily.

The card holds one roll with 10 m of white tape. The fusible tape is made of 100 % polyamide; it can be ironed and is washable at 40 °C. The finished item stays easy to care for.

Reinforcing an edge

Place the tape on the wrong side of the fabric along the cut edge and iron it on. On curves, such as a neckline, shape the tape as you lay it down. Do not stretch it, otherwise the edge will draw in later. Iron in sections and make sure the tape sits firmly all the way along. Test the ironing on a fabric scrap first, especially with delicate fabrics.
