Rayher Happy Egg silicone mould – casting bunnies and Easter eggs

With the Happy Egg silicone mould from Rayher, you can cast four Easter decorations: two bunnies and two Easter eggs. The mould is suitable for craft concrete, craft concrete 5in1, Raysin 200, casting resin and wax.

According to Rayher, the silicone is extremely flexible and keeps its shape, so you can easily release the designs from the mould once they have set. It is frost- and heat-resistant from −40 °C to 230 °C.

Casting with the mould

Rinse the mould with water before use. According to Rayher, no additional release agent such as oil is needed. Fill the designs with the mixed material, leave it to set following the instructions for the material, then carefully push the pieces out by flexing the silicone.

Material quantities and ideas

For this mould, Rayher gives a quantity of approx. 400 g of craft concrete or approx. 350 g of Raysin 200, so you can weigh out the amount beforehand. If you cast the designs with a hole in the centre, they become napkin rings or egg cups. Cast with a base, they can be used as tealight holders.

Do not use the mould as a baking tin or for food. Once you have cast concrete, resin or wax in a mould, do not use it for food again.
