Rayher 3D Latex Bird Mould – Flexible Mould for Concrete Birds

The Rayher 3D latex bird mould (art. no. 34215000) is a stretchy latex casting mould for making three-dimensional birds from concrete. The mould measures 11.5 × 10 cm and holds approx. 400 g of casting compound. The cast piece can be used as a decoration for the home or garden, or as a handmade gift.

Because the mould is flexible, you can peel it off the cast piece once it has hardened. Fine contours are preserved, and you can use the mould several times.

Casting the bird

Hang the latex mould in a suitable opening, for example in a glass, and then fill it with casting compound. Once hardened, peel the stretchy mould off the cast piece. Then leave the object to dry and harden completely before you paint and decorate it. Only remove the mould once the cast piece is firm, and peel it off slowly so that no details break off.

Accessory: mould holder

Rayher offers the mould holder 34217000 as a matching accessory. It measures 24 × 21 cm, has a cut-out with a diameter of 8 cm and fits the latex full moulds 34215000 and 34216000. It is not included.
