Rayher latex mould garden gnome – stretchy full mould for concrete and Raysin

The "Gartenzwerg" (garden gnome) latex full mould from Rayher (art. no. 34216000) lets you cast your own garden gnome from casting compound. The mould measures 8 × 21.5 cm. According to Rayher, you fill it with craft concrete or Raysin. As the latex is stretchy, you simply peel the mould off the cast piece once it has set, and you can use it again.

For planning quantities: allow approx. 600 g of concrete for one gnome. Once set, you can paint and decorate the figure.

Casting the garden gnome

Hang the latex mould in a suitable opening, such as a glass, and fill it with casting compound. Once set, peel off the stretchy mould. Let the compound harden completely before peeling, otherwise the figure may be damaged. You can then paint the finished figure.

Matching accessories

Rayher offers the mould holder 34217000 for this mould (24 × 21 cm, cut-out ø 8 cm). According to Rayher, it is suitable for items 34215000 and 34216000 and holds the soft latex mould in position while you fill it. Do not use a mould that has been used for concrete or other casting compounds for food again.
