Rayher soap colour – add drop by drop to reach the shade you want

Rayher soap colour is used to colour craft soap, modelling soap, bath bombs and bath salts. You add it drop by drop until the shade is right: a few drops give a soft colour, more drops a stronger one. The colours can be mixed with one another, so you can create your own shades and colour gradients.

The colour works with both transparent and opaque soap base. The plastic bottle is unbreakable, has a screw cap and its dropper makes dosing easy. Choose your colour from the options. According to Rayher, the ingredients meet the dermatological requirements of the cosmetics regulation.

Colouring soap

Melt the soap base in a water bath and take the container off the heat. Add the colour drop by drop and stir well after each drop until the colour is evenly distributed. Count the drops so that you can mix the shade again later. It is better to start with a little colour, as it is easy to add more but impossible to take it out. Only then pour the soap into the mould.

Transparent or opaque?

With a transparent base the soap stays translucent, while with an opaque base the same shade looks more opaque and a little lighter. If you want to match the shade for a larger quantity, first test the number of drops with a small amount of soap. For modelling soap, bath bombs and bath salts, you also add the colour drop by drop until you reach the intensity you want.
