Rayher unicorn mould – 6 designs for casting with casting powder, plaster, soap and wax

The Rayher unicorn mould (art. no. 36080000) brings six different unicorn designs together in one mould. Each design measures approx. 5 to 6 cm. You can cast small figures for decoration, pendants, gifts or table decorations.

The mould is made of flexible LDPE. Because the material is flexible, you release set figures by bending the mould slightly. This also protects fine details such as horns and manes. The mould is suitable for casting with casting powder, plaster, soap or wax.

Casting the unicorns

Place the mould on a level surface so that the figures are of even thickness. Mix or prepare the casting compound according to its manufacturer's instructions, then pour it carefully into the cavities. Tap the mould lightly so that air bubbles rise to the surface. Let the compound set completely before you release the figures. To do so, bend the mould gently and push the unicorns out from the back. Casting powder, plaster, soap and wax each behave differently, so it is worth doing a first test cast.

Important notes on use

Once you have cast plaster, soap or wax in a mould, do not use it for food afterwards.
