Efco Reliefco 300 – white casting powder for reliefs and models

Efco Reliefco 300 is a fine casting powder for casting decorative reliefs and full 3D models in fine detail, for example decorative items, jewellery pieces, gifts or floristry accessories. You simply mix the powder with water. The compound hardens in the air, is odourless and dries to a brilliant white.

According to Efco, Reliefco 300 is weatherproof and intended for indoor and outdoor use. So you can also display cast figures or plaques in the garden or on the balcony. The powder is available in 1 kg, 5 kg and 25 kg. Choose the size from the options.

Working with Reliefco 300

The working time is about 10 minutes. Mix only as much as you can pour in that time, and have everything ready before you add the powder to the water.

• Mix powder and water according to the mixing ratio on the packaging. Sprinkle the powder into the water and stir until smooth and free of lumps.
• Pour the compound quickly into a clean, dry mould. Tap the mould gently so that air bubbles rise and fine details are reproduced cleanly.
• After approx. 30 minutes you can remove the piece from the mould.
• Leave the object to dry through completely. You can paint it after at least 12 hours, and later for larger pieces.

Planning quantities

For small reliefs, a small pack is often enough; for many casts or large pieces, the larger size is worthwhile. Clean the mixing container and tools before the compound hardens. It is much easier at this stage.
