Rayher Beechwood Felting Needle Holder – more comfortable felting with one needle

The Rayher felting needle holder (art. no. 5362300) holds one felting needle and makes needle felting more comfortable, especially on large areas and longer projects. It is made of beechwood and sits ergonomically in the hand.

According to Rayher, you can use coarse (5362000), medium (5362100) or fine (5362200) felting needles: fix the needle in the clamping wedge and push the wedge into the handle. The bag contains 1 needle holder; the needles are not included.

Working with the holder

Place your material on a felting mat and push the needle in vertically and back out again. Sideways pressure or levering can bend or break the fine needle. With a coarse needle you felt shapes quickly; with a fine one you smooth surfaces and work details.

One needle or several?

With just one needle you place the stitches precisely, for example for faces, patterns or small corrections. For larger areas, Rayher offers a separate felting needle handle for 6 needles, which is a different product.
