Linoleum Cutting Board – Bench Hook for Lino Cutting (Right-Handed)

The Linoleum Cutting Board is an MDF bench hook for lino cutting, made for right-handed users. The lino block sits against a stop edge and does not slip while you cut. A batten on the underside hooks over the table edge, so the board itself also stays firmly in place.

At 25 × 29 cm, the board offers enough surface for lino blocks in common printing sizes. It is suitable for printmaking, art classes and hobby use.

Working with the board

Place the board with the batten on the underside against the table edge and push it up until it sits firmly. Set the lino block against the stop edge so that it does not move while you cut. Always cut away from your body and never put your holding hand in front of the blade; keep it to the side or behind the tool. For deeper cuts, it is better to turn the block against the stop than to force the direction with the tool.

Right or left?

This board is made for right-handed users. If you are left-handed, choose a version for the left hand when buying, so that the stop sits on the correct side for you.
