Rayher floral pins – staples for fixing twigs to a wreath

Rayher floral pins (art. no. 2106600), also known as floral staples or wreath pins, fix twigs, floral picks and other decorative elements to and into straw and polystyrene wreaths or floral foam. The bag contains 50 pieces, so there are enough for several wreaths or arrangements.

They are typically used for Advent wreaths: you can fix fir twigs to a polystyrene ring without glue. The twigs are easier to remove later than glued ones. The pins suit any floristry project where natural material needs to stay in place on a wreath base or in floral foam.

Fixing twigs to a wreath

Lay the twig or pick in the desired position on the wreath base and press a pin over the stem into the base. Place the pins so that the twigs overlap and the fixings are hidden afterwards. In floral foam, you can also secure twigs and picks with the pins. If a twig still wobbles, it is better to use one pin too many than one too few.
