Artemio VersaCraft ink pad – slow-drying for fabric, paper and embossing

The Artemio VersaCraft Slow-Drying Ink stamp pad contains slow-drying, water-based pigment ink for fabric, paper and terracotta. The ink is acid-free. Because it dries slowly, you have enough time when embossing to sprinkle on the powder before the impression dries. On textiles, you set the impression with heat, for example with an iron or a heat gun.

The pad measures 33 × 33 mm, so it is designed for small stamps and fine motifs. Larger stamps will not fit fully on the surface. Choose your colour from the options.

Stamping on fabric

Once dry, set the impression on textiles with heat so that it lasts.

• Wash the fabric beforehand so that no finish interferes with the impression.
• Test the stamp and ink on an offcut first.
• Dab the stamp onto the pad rather than pressing the pad down, and stamp with even pressure on a firm, smooth surface.
• Let the impression dry, then set it with an iron or a heat gun. Adjust the temperature to suit the fabric.

Embossing with slow-drying ink

Stamp your motif, sprinkle embossing powder over it straight away and tap off the excess powder. Then heat the powder with the heat gun until it melts and forms a raised surface. Work quickly, as the powder only sticks to ink that is still wet.
