StazOn Opaque white ink pad – opaque stamp ink for smooth surfaces
The StazOn Opaque ink pad in white (Cotton White) is a set consisting of an uninked pad, a 15 ml ink bottle and a mini spreader. It lets you stamp in opaque white on smooth, non-porous materials such as plastic, metal, glass or ceramic. The solvent-based ink dries quickly, is scratch-resistant and waterproof, acid-free and archival.
Because the colour is opaque, the white also shows up on dark surfaces. You can use the ink with embossing powder for heat embossing. Besides the materials mentioned, it is also suitable for leather, acrylic, photos, aluminium foil and cellophane.
Filling the ink pad
The pad is dry when you buy it and must be filled with ink before the first use. The drying time depends on the surface and the amount of ink applied.
- Shake the ink bottle well.
- Put 5–8 drops on the ink side of the pad.
- Spread the ink evenly with the spreader.
- Press the stamp onto the pad and stamp onto the surface.
Tips for a clean impression
On smooth surfaces such as glass or plastic, the ink stays wet for longer and can smudge if the stamp slips. So place it down straight and lift it off without twisting. Clean the stamp with StazOn Cleaner straight after use, before the ink dries. You should not stamp on textiles with this ink.
