DiamondCore Semi-Flex Diamond Pads are semi-flexible diamond sanding pads for working ceramics, glass and stone. Their slightly bendable structure lets them follow curves, edges and uneven areas. You can remove material in a controlled way and refine surfaces finely.

The pads are waterproof and can be used dry or wet. Choose your grit from the options.

Which grit to choose

The pads come in three grits for different stages of work. The coarse grit removes material quickly and evens out edges. With the medium grit you smooth and refine shapes. The fine grit produces a satin finish and serves as a preparation for polishing. Work from coarse to fine and do not skip a stage, otherwise the scratches from the coarser grit will remain visible.

Working with the pads

For curves and edges, move the pad over the workpiece with light pressure and even strokes. Bend it slightly to follow the shape.

• Wet sanding: water binds the fine sanding dust from ceramics and glass.
• Before changing to the next grit, rinse the workpiece and your hands so that no coarse grit gets into the finer stage.
• When sanding dry, wear a dust mask and safety glasses.
