Prym Pyjama-Elastic 20 mm white – soft elastic for pyjama, trouser and skirt waistbands

Prym Pyjama-Elastic in white is a flat elastic, 20 mm wide, for waistbands on nightwear, trousers and skirts. According to Prym, it is highly elastic, very soft and supple. You can thread it through a casing or sew it directly onto the fabric. The card contains 2 m.

The elastic is washable up to 40 °C and tumble dryer safe, which makes it easy to care for on clothes that are washed often. Prym also states that the product is certified OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Using the elastic

To thread it through, sew a casing into the waistband, leave a small opening and pull the elastic through with a safety pin or bodkin. Make sure the elastic does not twist inside the casing. To sew it on, stretch the elastic and stitch it to the fabric with a stretch stitch (for example zigzag). Do not cut it too short beforehand, as the ends are overlapped and sewn together.
