Clover Macaron in mint – needle holder with magnet and polishing cushion

The Clover Macaron in mint is a magnetic needle holder and needle sharpener shaped like a macaron. On the magnetic side, your needles stay close to hand while you work, and in the cushion in the middle you can polish them smooth again.

According to Clover, the centre is made of a cotton/nylon blend with abrasive grit. The Macaron comes in mint, and the series is also available in pink.

How to polish needles

Polishing takes only a few seconds. Work slowly so that the needle does not bend.

• Slowly push the needle into the middle cushion section.
• Hold the top and bottom of the Macaron firmly as you do so.
• Push the needle into the cushion several times and pull it out again to check the polishing result.

Storing needles

To store a needle, place it on the magnetic side without the Clover logo. That way you have pins and sewing needles quickly to hand while you work, and they are less likely to get lost on the table.
