Clover Rubber Thimble Medium – a firm grip for pulling the needle
The flexible rubber thimble from Clover (art. no. 6031) helps you pull the needle through dense fabric or several layers when hand sewing. It is made for the index finger and, thanks to the flexible material, fits snugly. The ventilation holes keep it breathable. According to Clover, it gives a firm grip when you pull the needle out.
It is used for embroidery, appliqué, quilting, tailoring, decorative stitches, beadwork and other hand sewing. The pack contains 2 thimbles.
Using the thimble and choosing the size
Put the thimble on the index finger of the hand you use to pull the needle through the fabric. Then grip the needle with the rubber surface: it slips less as you pull it through, especially with several layers of fabric or when quilting. Medium is 16 mm. If the thimble feels too tight, Clover also offers Large (art. no. 6032) at 18 mm.
