Efco wooden cube beads for dummy chains – letters, numbers and motifs

The Efco cubes are made of bleached wood and are used to personalise dummy chains, name necklaces and key rings. They measure 10 × 10 × 10 mm and have a hole of approx. Ø 3 mm for threading. They come as letters, numbers and motifs; choose the cube you want from the options.

The pale wood suits simple, natural chain designs. You can combine cubes to put names, birth dates or small motifs such as a heart, star or little bear on a chain.

Planning your chain

Each cube is 10 mm wide. Lay out the name before threading and you can see the total length of the row of cubes: a name with six letters is approx. 6 cm long. The hole is approx. Ø 3 mm, so the cord must fit through it. If the cord is to pass through the cube more than once, choose a much thinner one. Beads between the cubes break up the pattern and add touches of colour.
