HobbyFun Car Bead – Wooden Beads with a Car Motif for Dummy Chains

The HobbyFun car bead is a wooden bead in the shape of a car, for homemade dummy chains, teething toys and baby toys. Each bead measures approx. 18 x 13 x 8 mm and has rounded edges; the set contains 2 pieces. The car bead is made in Germany.

The car motif adds variety between round wooden beads. Two pieces are enough to space the motif evenly along a chain or to use it as an accent. Choose your colour from the options.

Working with the wooden bead

Thread the car bead onto a ribbon or cord together with other beads and place it between round wooden beads so the motif stands out. Check that your ribbon fits through the hole in the bead, ideally by testing with one bead before threading the whole chain.

What to look out for with finished chains

Under DIN EN 12586, dummy chains may have a maximum total length of 22 cm. Knot all the beads securely and check the finished chain for damage and loose parts before each use.
