addiSwing Maxi – crochet hook with a long hook and ergonomic handle
The addiSwing Maxi by addi is a crochet hook with an extra-long hook and a total length of 17 cm, made for work with many loops on the hook. The smooth metal hook is made of aluminium and, according to addi, is 1 cm longer than on the standard Swing. The handle is made of plastic.
The long handle sits comfortably in the hand, and its curve gives your fingers support. Choose your size from the options.
What the Maxi is for
According to addi, the hook is suitable for pot holders, dishcloths, hats, jumpers, jackets, arm warmers, gloves, scarves, shawls and blankets. The longer hook holds more loops at once. This helps with multiple trebles and other techniques where many loops sit on the hook.
Which size to choose
The addiSwing Maxi is available in sizes from 2.0 to 6.0 mm. Choose the size to suit your yarn and pattern. What matters is the tension given in your pattern; the figure on the yarn's ball band is only a guide.
