The fine micro side cutters trim soft wires and rivet pins in electronics, craft and DIY projects. The angled cutting edge lets you trim wires and pins with control, even in tight spots.
The flat-ground side cuts flush against the workpiece. That leaves no protruding wire ends that could later prick or get in the way.
How to get a clean cut
Hold the flat side of the blade against the workpiece and make the cut right at the surface, so the cut end stays smooth. The side cutters are intended for soft wires. Hard wires such as spring steel or piano wire can damage the fine blades. Small pieces of wire tend to fly off when cut: hold the end with your free hand or shield it.
