Graine Créative SAVON soap mould – cast your own soap blocks

With the SAVON soap mould from Graine Créative, you cast your own soap in a square block measuring 65 × 65 × 31 mm. The mould is made of thermoformed plastic. It suits melt-and-pour soap (soap base), which you can colour and scent as you like, making it a simple introduction to soap making. Homemade soaps also work well as a personal DIY gift.

The stated block size helps with planning: you know in advance how big the soap will be and can choose suitable packaging or gift ribbon.

Casting your soap

Melt the soap base according to the instructions on the pack, stir in colour and fragrance only at the end, and pour the mixture slowly into the mould. You can remove small air bubbles from the surface with a little alcohol from a spray bottle. Let the block set completely before carefully releasing it from the mould; otherwise the edge will lose its shape.

Note on use

Once a mould has been used for casting soap, do not use it for food again.
