Insert Label "Handgemachte Seife" – Lettering in Your Own Cast Soap

With the Rayher insert label, the lettering "Handgemachte Seife" (German for "handmade soap") is impressed into your own cast soap like an engraving. The round natural rubber label has a diameter of 45 mm and, according to Rayher, gives deep, clear impressions. You place it in the mould before pouring, it is cast in with the soap and lifted off afterwards.

After cleaning with water, the label can be used again and again. You can also use it when casting creative concrete or Raysin. The mould and the creative soap are not included. Choose a mould that the 45 mm diameter label fits into.

Using the label

The label makes sure the lettering is moulded into the soap as it is cast. Proceed as follows:

• Place the label in the mould with the design facing up.
• First use a spoon to spread a thin layer of liquid creative soap over the label and press it down lightly.
• Then pour the rest of the soap into the mould.
• Leave the soap to dry in the mould, then remove it.
• Carefully lift the label off the soap with a fine needle.

Care and reuse

After lifting it off, clean the label with water and it is ready for the next cast. Because you press down the thin layer of soap first, the label sits firmly when you pour and does not slip.
