Efco effect wire with a zigzag shape – for floristry and crafts

Efco effect wire is a thin, zigzag-shaped wire for decorative effects, used mainly in floristry. The zigzag gives a lively, sparkling look that smooth wire does not offer. The spool holds 45 m of wire with a thickness of ø 0.25 mm. Choose your colour from the options.

At ø 0.25 mm the wire is fine and easy to shape by hand. The length of 45 m helps you plan how much you need: for larger projects such as several arrangements or wreaths, work out the length required roughly beforehand.

Using the effect wire

Wind the wire loosely around wreath bases, arrangements or decorative twigs so that the zigzags remain visible as an effect. Do not pull it too tight: if the wire is stretched hard, the zigzag shape flattens out and the effect is lost. To cut it, use scissors for thin wire or side cutters. Press the wire ends lightly into the material or bend them over so that nothing sticks out.
