Prym Embroidery Hoop Ø 19 cm – Beechwood Double Ring with Brass Screw

The Prym beechwood embroidery hoop (art. no. 611677) holds your fabric smooth and taut while you embroider. The round double ring has a diameter of 19 cm. The wood is natural in colour, laminated in several layers and finely sanded. The brass adjusting screw fixes the tension of the fabric.

At 19 cm, the hoop is a medium size. It suits small monograms as well as larger designs. You can use it for hand embroidery and for free-motion machine embroidery.

How to hoop the fabric

Loosen the screw, take off the outer ring and place the inner ring under the fabric. Put the outer ring on top, pull the fabric smooth at the edges and tighten the screw. The fabric should be taut but not overstretched, so that the design does not become distorted. Take the fabric out of the hoop after embroidering to avoid marks from the ring.

Which size to choose

Choose the Ø 19 cm for medium-sized embroidery designs. For small details, the 13 and 16 cm hoops are easier to handle; for large areas, choose the 22 and 25 cm ones.
