Prym embroidery hoop 13 cm – beech wood hoop for small designs

The Prym embroidery hoop is a round double ring made of natural beech wood, in which you stretch fabric for embroidery. With a diameter of 13 cm, it suits small designs and monograms. The wood is finely sanded and 3-ply glued. The brass adjusting screw lets you fix the tension of the fabric.

Prym offers this embroidery hoop in diameters of 13, 16, 19, 22 and 25 cm. The larger your design, the larger the hoop should be.

How to stretch the fabric

Place the inner ring under the fabric and loosen the screw of the outer ring until it fits loosely over the fabric. Press the outer ring onto the inner ring, smooth the fabric at the edge and then tighten the screw. Pull the fabric evenly outwards rather than diagonally, so the weave does not distort. The fabric should be taut, but not overstretched.

What the hoop is used for

The hoop is suitable for hand embroidery and free-motion machine embroidery. At 13 cm in diameter, it is the smallest size in the range. For larger designs, choose one of the larger diameters.
